AquaMijas
This waterpark Malaga is located in Mijas, but it’s actually closer to Fuengirola. This one is the smallest and was especially designed for families with small children. You can sit and keep an eye on your children while they go to the attractions or have a swim in the pools.
There are 12 attractions available from light slides to more daring ones such as the Kamikaze and the rapids in RÃo Bravo or RÃo Aventura. If you prefer something more relaxing, you can cool off in the pools like the blue lake, the wave pool or the jacuzzi.
Prices: 25€ for adults, 19€ from 8 to 12 years and 14€ from 3 to 7 years.
Opening hours: June and September from 10am to 6pm and July and August from 10am to 7pm.
Aquavelis
Aquavelis is located in Torre del Mar and is more oriented to be a family space. Most of the visitors are locals, especially young Spanish families who prefer to escape from the other waterparks as there are too many tourists for them.
This Malaga water park is totally different from the others as it offers activities in virtual reality, such as a virtual roller coaster or races at full speed. Besides, there are eight slides for all ages, two large swimming pools and a children’s area.
Prices: the prices vary depending on the height of the person. 22,50€ (over 1,40m), 16,50€ (1,10 to 1,40m), 12€ (0,90m to 1,10m) and Seniors 16,50€.
Opening hours: June and September from 11am to 6pm and July and August from 11am to 7pm.
AquaLand
If you love speed and adrenaline, this one’s for you! AquaLand is situated in Torremolinos and is one of the largest water parks in Spain. Here fun is guaranteed for all ages as it has plenty of attractions from lighter to extreme ones. There are 19 water slides for adults and 15 for children, of which three are for the bravest ones like the Boomerang, the Black Hole or the Kamikaze.
There are also some areas designed for the little ones watched over by a team of lifeguards to guarantee their safety. And if you like waves, don’t miss the wave pool which has a height of 1 metre.
Prices: 26€ for adults, 18.50€ from 4 to 12 years, 10€ from 3 to 4 years and babies free.
Opening hours: May, June and September from 11am to 6pm and July and August from 10am to 7pm.
Floating water parks
This waterpark Malaga is perfect if you prefer going to the beach rather than to an enclosed space but still would like to do a fun activity. These parks are platforms that float on the sea close to the shore and have slides, climbing areas, floating walkways, among others.
There are some floating water parks in Costa del Sol, you can find them in La Malagueta beach (near Malaga’s city centre), Benalmádena, Fuengirola and Marbella. So depending on where you are staying you can check which one is closer to your location.
Children under 6 years old are not allowed to enter into these floating water parks and children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult who must pay admission too.
Their opening hours are from 11:00 to 8:00 p.m and their price for 1 hour is 15€ and the full day is 35€.
